'Am Going To Die', Woman In Kerala 'Love Jihad' Case Says On Camera Kerala 'love jihad' case: 24-year-old victim Hadiya pleads for her life on camera

The top court, in fact, had questioned how the Kerala High Court annulled the marriage of Hadiya and Shafeen Jahan under Article 226. I will be killed anytime, tomorrow or the day after, I am sure.

Akhila converted to Islam and adopted the name Hadiya after marrying Shefin Jahan in 2016.

In a video released by activist Rahul Eashwar in August this year, Hadiya can be heard saying, "Get me out of here". My father is getting angry, I know.

Earlier this month, the Kerala government told the court that the police investigation into the case - of alleged "love jihad" - had revealed nothing worthy of being reported to the Centre under the 2008 NIA Act. "When I walk, he is hitting and kicking me..." the Indian woman's words in a viral video have created a huge stir in India's civil as well as political circles.

According to activist Eashwar the video was recorded in August.

Hadiya was reportedly not been allowed to step out of her house ever since the high court gave her custody to her parents.

"You have to get me out".

The commission's chairperson MC Josephine met with the Superintendent of Police (SP) in Kottayam and asked a detailed report on the 24-year-old's present situation at her residence in Vaikom, where she is under house arrest.

It was also alleged to be an act of "love jihad".

This is the second video he has released on Thursday in a press conference. Hadiya fears that her life is in danger.

The case is under consideration of the Supreme Court now, which had ordered the NIA investigation into it. Shafin, on September 16, had filed a plea in the apex court and requested to call off the NIA probe alleging that the agency "is not being fair".

The Kerala Government has said that if the apex court wants an NIA probe, it has no objections.
