At least 30 killed in suicide bombing at Kabul mosque

A suicide bomber has killed at least 30 people inside a mosque in the Afghan capital Kabul, officials say.
Accordning to Pajhwok Afghan News the bomber entered the mosque in Police District 13 of Kabul city and opened fire on worshippers, Kabul Crime Branch chief Gen Mohammad Salim Almas said.
Late last month, a bomber detonated an explosive device outside another Shia mosque in Kabul, killing at least six people.
It noted the toll may rise as several injured people remained in critical condition.
President Ashraf Ghani in a statement sent hours after the incident condemned the attacks on Kabul and Ghor mosques and called them inhuman and against the values of Islam.
"We learned with sorrow that many were killed and more wounded in attacks at mosques in the Kabul and Ghor provinces of Afghanistan, today", the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Ghor was among the relatively calm provinces in north-western parts of the country but the province has started to witness growing instability during the recent years as both the Taliban insurgents and ISIS loyalists attempt to expand their foothold in this province. But there were no immediate claims of responsibility for Friday's attacks. Seven of his bodyguards were also killed in the attack.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for either attack.
