The legendary actor made headlines over the weekend when he jumped into action to help a woman who ran her vehicle off of a highway.

The Star Wars and Indiana Jones leading man was driving behind a woman who drove her auto off the California State Route 126.

Photos show Ford at the scene of the crash.

Harrison Ford is living up to the heroism of some of his fan-favorite characters like Indiana Jones, Han Solo and more.

The accident occurred after a woman drove off the side of the road and onto an embankment in Santa Paula.

"He acted as a good Samaritan, just like everybody else, and tried to help before emergency services arrived", Senior Officer Matt Alonzo of the Santa Paula Police Department told USA Today. Ford and others managed to get the unidentified driver out of the auto.

The woman driving, who was the only occupant in the sedan, escaped with minor injuries, authorities said.
