10TV is forecasting temperatures to remain frigid with a low of 18 degrees Friday night and a high of 20 degrees on Saturday.

The National Weather Service Office in Indianapolis has issued a winter weather advisory ahead of Friday afternoon's anticipated snow.

Roads are likely going to be slippery and there could be reduced visibility on roadways.

By midnight most of the snow has moved east into Ohio. Snowfall should decrease as you go north with only 1 to 2-inches expected in counties adjacent to the Illinois-Wisconsin border.

Not only are we tracking the bitter cold, but we're tracking some snow showers for our Saturday, enough to make for slick travel for parts of southern New England. Snow will continue to fall through Saturday, finally clearing up early Sunday morning.

Temperatures are expected to reach a high of only 27 on Saturday with calm winds of 5 to 7 miles per hour in the afternoon. Mostly cloudy skies to end off 207.

Also: Look at the cold air in Canada.

The sub-freezing temperatures are expected to hang around all week.
