Sam Allardyce to be named new Everton manager in next 48 hours

But his seven-game tenure has been little short of disastrous, with Everton losing five games and winning just one.

Koeman guided Everton to seventh place last season - his first in charge - but was sacked the day after a 5-2 home defeat by Arsenal on 22 October. However, the club started poorly in both the Premier League and the Europa League.
