"Star Wars: The Last Jedi" pulled in $120.4 million globally on the New Year's Eve weekend with $52.4 million domestically and $68 million internationally during the Friday-Sunday period. The set is now available from Argos either for home delivery or to collect in-store.

Amidst all the chaos in the Star Wars community, a misleading rumor started running around, suggesting that Hamill didn't know the ending of the Star Wars sequel trilogy installment when he worked on the film. Mark Hamill initially felt upset by the way the character was written as well, however, the Star Wars legend later on admitted that he realized that Luke's path was what The Last Jedi needed. The LEGO sets based on the upcoming movie are available now.

In total, the film has earned $517 total gross at the U.S. box office, a massive number for a film that opened earlier in December! Star Wars: The Force Awakens achieved that milestone the fastest. Domestically, The Last Jedi is the highest grossing movie of the year.

This should help calm down the fiery debate going on in the Star Wars fanbase.

"The Last Jedi" has also topped the charts for the third weekend in a row.

In Lucasfilm's Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the Skywalker saga continues as the heroes of The Force Awakens join the galactic legends in an epic adventure that unlocks age-old mysteries of the Force and shocking revelations of the past. Attendance declined by roughly 4 percent, to 1.26 billion, according to analysts, the lowest total in about two decades, as a string of big-budget films stumbled.

On a final note, fans of "Star Wars" would also do well to remember that the movie franchise, ever since it began on 1977, has always been about a group of people from all walks of life rebelling against a tyrannical order. The next standalone Star Wars movie, Solo: A Star Wars Story, opens in theaters on May 25, 2018.
