Android P: Google's new OS may stop supporting older apps

It lets you get started in a game without having to download it completely - in essence you're streaming the bits you need to your Android phone or tablet. The Google Play Instant function will drop you into a game so you can experience what the game's like and see if it's a good fit for you, but for now, the demo content for each entry is a bit bare bones, and progress can't be saved or passed on to the full app.
Google is said to be following the footsteps of Apple as it is slowly blocking the use of apps from its store with the latest update of OS Android P. Apple delete the apps that no more support in their latest iPhone models and in the same way Google is now clearing its store of the unsupported apps. New tags like "New" or "Action" make it easier to find a particular type of game.
As has become something of a tradition at the Game Developers Conference (GDC), GDC 2018 also begins with Google and the Google Developer Day. But it's also a competitive field where one hit can make or break a company.
Google has introduced the concept of Instant Apps in 2016, which allowed users to preview apps without installing them. On the developer side, Instant comes with notable extensions as well, including a higher APK size limit, progressive download support for executable code and game assets, and support for NDK and game engines using existing tool chains.
