Tech companies pile on lawsuits against the FCC over the repeal of net neutrality

Net neutrality requires internet service providers to treat all online content the same, meaning they can't deliberately speed up or slow down traffic from specific websites to put their own content at advantage over rivals.
Washington became the first state to pass its own laws governing Net neutrality, countering the US government's repeal of national regulations preventing Internet service providers from blocking or throttling content.
Senate Democrats, industry leaders and net neutrality activists say the FCC's move to toss out the Obama-era rules will bog down and end the Internet as we know it.
