Today, following his meeting with Bahceli, President Erdogansaid the snap parliamentary elections will be held in Turkey on June 24, 2018.
Erdoğan announced the snap polls after a meeting with Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) chairman Devlet Bahçeli at the presidential complex in Ankara, a day after the latter called for snap elections to be held in August.
The parliamentary and presidential polls had previously been slated for November 3, 2019.
