President Donald Trump selected Southern Baptist Pastor Robert Jeffress to speak at the opening of the new USA embassy for Israel in Jerusalem, apparently disregarding - or perhaps because of - his intensely bigoted beliefs about Mormons, Jews, Muslims, and the LGBTQ community. Even among some who strongly supported the embassy move to Jerusalem, however, the Jeffress choice did not go over well.

Speaking on Fox News Radio, Jeffress said he had a specific plan for his prayer at the new embassy. "This is another example of a promise made, promise kept".
Late Sunday evening, Romney tweeted that Jeffress is "a bigot" and shouldn't "be giving the prayer that opens up" the embassy.
